After a year of planning and organizing, we're happy to report that ASLA Southern California pulled off one of the largest ASLA Annual Meetings ever! With over 6,500 attendees, we're now on the books as the second largest annual meeting, beating out Chicago and narrowly missing San Francisco.

To everyone who attended the kick off meeting last December, to the firms who hosted our cocktail parties, to our wonderful sponsors who support us in so many ways, to the members who submitted and lead field and education sessions, to those who assisted at the Host Booth, Women in LA Walk, and Legacy Project, to the student volunteers, and to the Southern California Chapter Executive Committee - thank you!

Special thanks also to the Annual Co-Chair Committee Leaders who coordinated and led the efforts necessary to pull the whole thing off. The Friday phone calls, emails and hours of volunteer efforts were all worth it.

Finally, a special thank you from all of us at the Southern California Chapter to Andy Bowden and Baxter Miller, our Chapter Annual Meeting Co-Chairs. Their personal commitment to the chapter goes beyond any thank you as we could not have done it without their many calls and emails with ASLA staff, their tireless optimism despite growing to-do lists and their infectious calm in the face of mounting pressure as the meeting neared.
