The University of Georgia is hosting a two-day conference called "Short Course 2019" in Athens, Ga. on February 6 and 7. The event is being hosted by the continuing education program within the College of Environment and Design at the university and as many as 13 hours of continuing education units will be available to attendees. Eleven speakers are slated to give seminars during the two days, and topics include rainwater harvesting, Japanese maples, designing a splash pad, and more! The first talk, presented by Tim Smally and entitled "Tour of Roswell Historic Gardens: Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall, Mimosa Hall, Smith Plantation," begins at 8:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time.
