On December 12, the ULI announced two new leaders for the Americas region. John R. "Jack" Chandler, Global Board member and ULI treasurer, has been named chairman and Gwyneth Jones Cote, multifamily industry leader, is the new president. Chandler's role is voluntary, and he will serve on the Americas Executive Committee, leading the implementation of ULI's Strategic Plan for the region. The Institute's Global Board of Directors approved the plan in May. The board's goal is to "improve member connections and involvement; strengthening and broadening ULI's member networks; and encouraging more philanthropic giving to expand ULI's reach."Cote will work alongside Chandler, the executive committee, and the global leadership, to maximize the Institute's member involvement with the Strategic Plan in the region. Along with other responsibilities, she will make sure that the Americas' work coincides with that of the Europe and Asia Pacific regions. For more background information on Chandler and Cote, read the full press release at https://tinyurl.com/ychkp3nn.
