Minnesota-based Great Northern Equipment, a distributor of outdoor equipment, and also the parent company of CEI, Dosko, Iron and Oak, JRCO and other outdoor equipment manufacturers, completed an asset purchase of Maxim Manufacturing Corporation from Sebastopol, Mississippi, which has been designing and building commercial grade landscape tillers, trimmers, sprinklers, rollers and more for over 40 years.

Power Distributors, which provides parts and products from many of the outdoor power equipment industry's best known brands to dealers and retailers, acquired the assets of Midwest Engine Warehouse, a regional wholesale distributor of outdoor power equipment with locations in Kansas, Utah and California. The purchase means that Power Distributors now has 11 locations nationwide.

Central Turf & Irrigation Supply, Inc., a North American wholesale distributor of irrigation, landscape lighting and equipment supplies, has opened two new stores. The additional locations are in Concord, Ontario, and Opelika, Alabama, and give the Elmsford, New York-based company 40 locations in 15 states and two provinces.
