Dr. Kumar received his Ph.D from University of California, Davis in Agricultural Engineering. He has been a Professor of Landscape Irrigation in the Science Program at Cal Poly University, Pomona CA since 1980, teaching the only 4 year degree program in Landscape Irrigation at this time. He has been teaching Irrigation short courses for industry for many years, as well as courses for the Irrigation Association. In addition, he has also been doing research and testing of irrigation products for many years.
