April is World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM)! Established by the American Society of Landscape Architects in 2015, WLAM aims to demonstrate how landscape architecture affects the daily lives of people around the world. Starting April 1, ASLA members are encouraged to celebrate their profession out in their communities and on social media.

Members can download a wallet sized card with "This Is Landscape Architecture" printed on it to take pictures of it at designed spaces to share on social media with the hashtag, #WLAM2019. ASLA will showcase all of these images to connect professionals and students across the world who promote the landscape architectural profession.

If you do not want to share a picture personally, you can submit the picture for ASLA to submit. To do so, just email the image to jtaylor@asla.org with "WLAM Map Image" in the subject line. To learn more about WLAM and to download a "This is Landscape Architecture" card, click HERE.
