Winner of Outstanding Young Engineer Award Announced
AEM and SAE International award John Deere's Amy Jones

Amy Jones, John Deere senior engineer, was honored with the Outstanding Young Engineer Award at the SAE 2017 Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers and SAE International announced John Deere senior engineer Amy Jones as the winner of their Outstanding Young Engineer Award.

Jones first joined John Deere in 2010 as a software verification and validation engineer and has been in her current position since 2014. In the construction and forestry division, Jones leads a team to develop and implement electrical systems.

"We are pleased to support SAE and recognize the next generation as we promote industry workforce development and excellence," said AEM senior director of technical and safety services Mike Pankonin. "We commend Amy for her work and dedication and wish her continued success."
