Specialists who earn the WaterSense certification can include the EPA WaterSense and IA certification logos on their business cards and marketing materials. The label also identifies products and services that meet EPA specifications for water efficiency like Energy Star identifies energy-efficient products.

Soon, WaterSense certified professionals will be listed in a searchable national database.

The EPA also endorses IA certification programs for landscape irrigation auditors, irrigation designers and irrigation contractors, making IA certification programs the first four to be recognized by the EPA WaterSense program.
