New regulations for California cities, SB 1383, require the use of recycled organics, compost, and mulch, to help beneficially use organics on all their city's landscapes. Landscapers can now help their cities get the credit that they need for using compost locally, by increasing compost in landscape applications for their customers in any city of California. Best management practices and benefits of using compost will also be outlined in detail for three landscape applications: lawns, bedding plants, and shrubs.
