Webinar Description:
Rain gardens are becoming a great ecologically friendly addition to any landscape. The features can be as simple as a pocket garden or a more elaborate garden that requires some engineering in design. This garden feature is used to capture or slow down stormwater runoff and allow this water to effectively soak into the ground and help to recharge the aquifers beneath the surface instead of running into nearby streams, loaded with sediment and pollutants, thus causing negative impacts in our streams. The proper location and right design elements are very important parts of using rain gardens in residential landscapes as well as commercial properties. This presentation will provide participants some of the tools needed to help them sell rain gardens to their customers.
