The Association of Equipment Manufacturers announced Dwight "Dyke" Messinger as its newest hall of fame inductee for his dedication in the off-road equipment industry. Messinger, president and CEO of Power Curbers Inc., was chosen for the hall of fame due to the business, customer service and safety changes he made in his company. "We are pleased to welcome Dyke Messinger into this elite group," said AEM President Dennis Slater. Messinger has implemented energy saving resources in his company and is committed to ensuring the safety of his products by listening to the concerns of his customers. AEM's hall of fame recognizes living and deceased individuals who have made an impact in the off-road equipment industry. An independent panel of experts judges nominees, submitted by companies or persons, on the principles of innovation, industry contributions, leadership, social responsibility and sustainability. "Their innovation and creativity inspire the next generation of leaders to continue our industry's commitment to enhancing productivity, sustainability, and economic and social prosperity," Slater said. The AEM Hall of Fame began in 1993 and has inducted more than 55 industry leaders such as Robert L. Vermeer of the Vermeer Corporation and Jon Kinzenbaw, founder of Kinze Manufacturing.
