With the introduction of a brand new certificate program in sustainable community planning & development offered by UC Irvine Extension, one of the first universities to develop curriculum catered to busy professionals across the U.S., professionals now have the resources available to create greener communities.

In order for planning professionals from all disciplines to achieve the same goal of building sustainable communities, they all must be able to understand each other’s function, importance and role.
 
Professionals that need to expand their knowledge on “green” initiatives, including architects, urban planners, civil engineers, environmental professionals, etc., now have access to a program developed to train professionals on how to work together to successfully build communities.
