U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) has introduced House Concurrent Resolution 240, legislation to designate the fourth week of April ?EUR??,,????'?????<

The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) worked with Rep. Cohen on crafting the legislation, which highlights myriad benefits of streetscapes. The ASLA became involved, of course, because the resolution helps highlight the work of landscape architects. Landscape professionals know that landscape architects design streetscapes and other projects to make our communities more livable and economically viable.The ASLA has created a link to make it convenient and easy to compose a brief message to your legislators to urge them to support National Streetscaping Week.
