SoCal ASLA to Host Climate Symposium in 2023

To be Held in April this Year, the SoCal ASLA Chapter will Meet to Discuss the Future of Landscape Architecture

ASLA CEO Torey Carter-Conneen will be attending this multi-chapter event.

The Southern California Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), has announced that they will be hosting a Climate Symposium for the ASLA on Earth Day this year. The event will take place on April 22, in Magic Johnson Park found in Los Angeles, California. The SoCal ASLA Chapter believes the profession of Landscape Architecture to be in a good position to directly approach climate change adaptation strategies.

The SoCal ASLA Chapter intends on bringing not only the members of its own chapter, but also landscape architects from other chapters and allied fields to this event. The event will include networking and collaboration all in the name of learning from each other how to best bring about an ideal future for the planet. The ASLA CEO, Torey Carter-Conneen will also attend the event to speak about the ASLA's national Climate Plan.
