Roy B. Mann

SHENZHEN, China - Roy B. Mann, ASLA, was a featured speaker at the Int. Seaside City Design Symposium held in Shenzhen, China, in December. Mann presented an audio-visual survey of riverfront and harbor landscape architectural and urban design expressions of local, regional, and national heritage in the U. S. and Canada. His talk, "Windows on the Past – Gateways to the Future: The Rebirth of Heritage on the New American Waterfront" was one of 15 given by invited planners and designers from China, Hong Kong, France, Australia, Japan, England, and the U. S. Mann also participated in the three-day symposium's workshops dealing with coastal planning and design issues in China.
