The 55-foot long, 32-foot high float, "Natural Beauties" will depict exotic lizards in their native habitat and feature four waterfalls using over 1,500 gallons of recycled water. The 2007 parade will mark Rain Bird's 11th year in the Rose Parade.

Rain Bird pays tribute to the role water plays in sustaining plants and animals in ecosystems around the world with "Natural Beauties" the company's entry in the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade.

Jaison Burns, left, age 8, and his brother, Gerald, age 7, look up at the towering steel frame of Rain Bird's 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade float entry during a test run through the streets of Duarte, Calif. on Aug. 19.

Through the float's depiction of reptiles from a variety of regions, Rain Bird encourages the intelligent use of water and conservation of Earth's most precious resource.

Various lizard species from throughout the world are found basking in the colorful rainforest laden with thousands of aromatic roses. Four waterfalls, consisting of the largest ever showcased in the Rose Parade, gently cascade through mist-draped gardens into a central lagoon filled with floating sculptured water lilies and colorful frogs.
