Most notable professional accomplishments:

Certainly great joy and fulfillment occurs as I work on design projects, but my greatest feeling of accomplishment comes from contributions that influence the future and the protection of our environment. The design for the REI Flagship Store reflects their conservation ethic; IslandWood is one of the country?EUR??,,????'???s first Gold LEED rated projects and teaches environmental stewardship to children; and the Washington State Department of Ecology was built to such high ecological standards that it received a LEED-Existing Building rating 20 years later.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: To be recognized by my peers on a national basis confirms that what I am doing is both important and significant to our design profession. Becoming a fellow is the ultimate honor and being able to go to work each day to do something I love and am passionate about is incredibly fulfilling.
