With over 30 years of experience and the breadth of our custom capabilities, Planters Unlimited can create commercial planters to your exact specifications. For the Mall of America Nickelodeon Universe Park, our team rose to the challenge of an extremely demanding project timeline. For the mall's grand opening, a total of 117 custom oversized planters were needed ranging from 36 inches in diameter up to a massive 112 inches! The planters the client was looking for needed to be durable in construction and finish for this high-traffic area, a perfect complement to the unique space, and large enough to house enormous trees and their root systems.

We ultimately decided upon two custom-made lightweight fiberglass designs, and our skilled artisans developed technical drawings detailing the chosen collections for approval. Fifty Marek round planters and sixty-seven Rosetta Low-Bowl planters in various sizes were then built to the exact design specifications, in perfect harmony to fit the scale of the space and in time for the grand opening.
