PGMS Honors Industry Professionals

Awards at 2024 "Transform" & Equip Expo

Five individuals received awards from the Professional Grounds Management Service for their service to the association and the green industry.

At the 2024 Annual Conference "Transform" & Equip Expo in Louisville, KY, the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) honored five professionals for their contributions to the industry.

Warren Sellers from Sellers Expositions received the PGMS Gold Medal, which recognizes "outstanding and long-term achievements and/or contributions to the green industry."

Christopher Vetick was given the E. Earl Wilson Award posthumously for his multiple decades contributing to PGMS and the green industry as a whole.

Warren Gorowitz from Hunter Industries was a recipient of the Special Award of Distinguished Service for his service that has gone above and beyond as a board and committee member.

Joel Spies from Rainbow Ecoscience received a Special Award of Distinguished Service for his service that has gone above and beyond as a board and committee member.

Barbara Hatchel, CGM with SSC at Texas A&M University was presented with the President's Award by PGMS President Roger Conner, CGM for her "outstanding service and contributions" to PGMS.
