After its premiere in 2006, Stanford was praised as a venue, but several areas of the pitch did not drain properly after heavy rainfalls.
The field now is said to completely drained within minutes after the last drop of rain and cricket can resume post haste.
Cricket, anyone? An all-Caribbean tournament of 20 teams is competing here during January and February.
