Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter Announces Professional & Student Awards

2024 ASLA PA-DE Awards

The PA-DE ASLA Chapter announced their annual awards winners, including this OLIN plan to restore part of the historic Fonthill Castle and Woodlands in Doylestown, PA.
Sepulveda Basin Vision Plan: After meeting with communities throughout the San Fernando Valley and listening to their needs and priorities, OLIN created a vision plan that will bring over 2000+ acres of ecological and recreational opportunities to Los Angeles.
Mid-Century Restoration: Drawing inspiration from the original 1950s home, Anne F. Walters integrated native plants as well as original stone and paving into the landscape site design to implement storm water management solutions.
KIPP Philadelphia Preparatory Academy: SALT Design Studio converted an empty asphalt lot into a multi-use space for the school.
Planting for the Future: Post-Industrial Delaware River Waterfront: In this general design project, Junyi Yang suggests five different phytoremediation methods to clean up six major pollutants in Philadelphia?EUR(TM)s Fishtown district along the Delaware River.

The ASLA Pennsylvania-Delaware (PA-DE) Chapter recently announced the winners of the 2024 awards cycle, recognizing 11 firms and individuals across both Professional and Student categories. In each Professional category, one Honor Award was given as well as various Merit Awards. In each Student category, only one Honor Award was given.
