To meet a growing demand for landscape products in the Midwest and Southern U.S., Techo-Bloc acquired manufacturing facilities in Illinois and Indiana.

A leading North American manufacturer of concrete paving products recently announced the acquisition of two manufacturing facilities - one in Waterloo, Ind., and the other in Rock Island, Ill.

The manufacturer, Techo-Bloc, reports that these strategic moves will give them the additional production and distribution needed to meet a growing demand for landscape products in the Midwest and Southern U.S., and that the facilities will be a welcome addition to the current network of well-established partners already in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions.

As a part of this expansion, Techo-Bloc states that it will be making significant investments in technology at their two new plants in addition to a new distribution center in the greater Chicago area; that existing staff can look forward to ongoing support and training from the parent company; and that additional job creation is also on the agenda, with the goal of building teams of creative, energetic and innovative people that value the opportunity to grow and excel.
