The Haldeman House, Naples, Fla., is said to be the city?EUR??,,????'???s oldest home.

The oldest home in Naples is taking a road trip north about 15 miles to Bonita Springs with Christian Busk, a landscape architect who buys and restores historic Florida homes.

The 120-year-old home, built by Confederate Gen. John Stuart Williams and later bought by Walter Haldeman, owner of the Louisville Courier-Journal newspaper, was sold in 2005 after efforts failed to stop new development on the property. The developer and new property owners, however, generously put up $100,000 to help move the home. The home will be moved in sections on flatbed trucks.
