The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) recently announced a grant opportunity for rural and suburban park and recreation professionals.

 

The grant is a 16-week cohort-style program that was designed to merge community-based organization (CBO) partners with technical support and environmental sustainability planning. The program is spread out over eight live, three-hour virtual workshops across four months.

Award winner CBOs will earn $10,000 for their participation and participants can receive up to 0.3 CEUs at completion. The Cohort 3 application for NRPA's Sustainability in Practice program closes on April 11.
