NRPA Announces 2022-23 Board Members

The NRPA has Announced Four New Board Members

The NRPA board is usually made up of around 20 people and is designed to reflect the interests of parks and recreation professionals.

The National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) just released the newest members to its 2022 to 2023 Board of Directors. The four newest members are Phil Ginsburg, John Prue, Cheredith Rhone, and Breece Robertson. They have joined the current group of 20 or so board members as of September 19. The goal of the board is to make sure the wants of the NRPA members are satisfied in things like politics, but also on an individual and local level.

Kirstine Stratton, the CEO as well as the President of the NRPA, congratulated the new members, "I am excited to welcome our new members to the board whose vision, unique perspective and combined talents will strengthen the field of parks and recreation and our organization. looking forward to working with them in advancing how we can continue to serve communities in service of equity, climate-readiness, and overall health and well-being."
