NRPA 2021 Annual Report Released

Showcases Impact of Local Parks and Recreation

The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) released their 2021 annual report to discuss the association's efforts towards certain goals through parks and recreation services.

The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) recently released its 2021 Annual report that discusses the association's efforts towards equitable, resilient, and healthy communities through local park and recreation professionals.


The report built on NRPA's campaign, "Our Park and Recreation" which highlights park and recreation officials' stories. NRPA achieved several initiatives which includes $3.64 million invested into communities, 966,932 impacted through various programs and partnerships, 94 communities supported through grants and technical assistance, to name a few programs.

"I couldn't be prouder of the work we've accomplished over the past year," enthused Kristine Stratton, NRPA President and CEO, "We've shared our park and recreation story far and wide and are proving that an investment in local parks and recreation is essential for strong, healthy and thriving communities. We look forward to working with our members, partners and supporters to continue this critical work so that all people have access to benefits of parks and recreation."
