CALABASAS, Calif.- John Serviss, an 18-year employee of Valley Crest Tree Company and 28-year nursery sales professional, was appointed to head up all branch operations for the company's Northern California division headquartered in Sunol, California.

As Branch Manager, Serviss will be responsible for managing the operation's financial and business development and implement the company's strategic plan at the branch level.

"This promotion is well deserved," said Robert L. Crudup, Jr., Senior Vice President of Nursery Operations. "John's proven leadership ability and management experience have been instrumental in building the company's reputation for customer service."

Serviss will be based at the Valley Crest Tree Company's operations facility in Sunol and oversee all Northern California branches including the company's 300-acre nursery located in the San Joaquin Valley, at Farmington, California.
