New Threat To Sage Grouse

The Partnership for the West coalition recently testified to the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Fisheries, Wildlife and Water. The Partnership urged federal officials to allow state and local government to continue managing sage-grouse conservation efforts, instead of allowing federal officials to takeover via the Endangered Species Act (ESA), which the Partnership feels could undermine the long-term conservation of the species.
