July Marks Another Continuous Month of Climbing Material Prices for Home Builders by Staff
During the month of July, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) reported another monthly increase in the prices of building materials. This month, total building material costs rose 0.4% and softwood lumber had a 2.3% price increase. This is all according to the Producer Price Index (PPI) report, that measured the increase that has been continuing since January of 2020.
