More than 300 people from the Chicago area attended a fundraising dinner party with a four seasons theme at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, May 12. The pledges of $174,000 will help support the arboretum’s commitment to encourage planting and conservation of trees and to bring children a deeper appreciation for nature.

The Morton Arboretum is 1,700 outdoor acres with a collection of 4,057 kinds of trees, shrubs and plants from around the world.
