The Michigan Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects honored several projects from the design firm SmithGroupJJR at the organization's annual awards.

Four of the firm's recent projects were awarded, including their Port Huron Blue Water River Walk, which received the 2017 MiASLA Honor Award for Design.

The Merit Award for Design went to the firm's modern and open-environment design of the Lake Trust Credit Union Headquarters.

The Ford Motor Company Campus and Workplace Master Plan and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Campus Master Plan Update were both awarded the MiASLA Honor Award for Landscape Planning & Analysis for the firm's innovative planning.

Landscape architect for SmithGroupJJR and MiASLA member Clare Jagenow also received the "Distinguished Member Award" for her contributions to the firm's campus and urban planning projects. Jagenow had previously received the "Emerging Professional Award" in 2010.
