RFP mapping provides maps of existing, possible and potential planting sites in a Chicago neighborhood, plus maps of parcels by existing tree canopy.

 

Utilizing remote sensing technology and urban forestry methodologies, RFP Mapping demonstrated the existing and potential tree canopy for the city of Chicago, Illinois.

For this project, they worked closely with Aaron N. Durnbaugh, Deputy Commissioner, Natural Resources and Water Quality Division, Chicago Dept. of Environment. Collaboration was essential in defining the scope of the project as well as determining what existing data could be incorporated to save time and money.
