Rain Master?EUR??,,????'???s iCentral?EUR??,,????<??? is a new product which transforms the company?EUR??,,????'???s RME Eagle Controller into an Internet-enabled irrigation control center, allowing customers to adjust and monitor their irrigation programs using the World Wide Web, no matter where they are.
It offers Evapo-Transpiration or ET data management, remote access and operation of multiple controllers through the Internet, and real-time system notifications via text message or e-mail. Users are able to read weather station ET data from the controller and send weather station ET data to any controller. For example, in California, ET data is directly linked to the California Irrigation Management Information System (CIMIS).
The iCentral patent pending technology utilizes reliable two-way wireless communications from the Internet to each field controller.?????EUR??,,?EUR The system?????EUR??,,?EUR takes advantage of existing commercial wireless carrier infrastructure found throughout most populated areas of the continental United States.?????EUR??,,?EUR After the initial installation of your controller is complete, the activation of the wireless service to your controller is performed directly from the Rain Master Web site.
Users may setup their system, so that weather information is automatically sent to each controller every day.?????EUR??,,?EUR Upon receipt of the weather information, the controller modifies scheduled station runtimes.?????EUR??,,?EUR The Web site may also initiate a ?EUR??,,????'??rain shutdown?EUR??,,????'?? to each of the controllers if it has determined that precipitation necessitates a shutdown.
Users will receive SMS cellular messages or regular e-mail alarm notifications when flow is enabled and a station has a high or zero station flow limit. For example, when the station is running and has satisfied the flow delay, the flow reads zero. A ?EUR??,,????'??No Flow?EUR??,,????'?? alarm condition at the controller is sent to the user. The controller then transmits this alarm back to iCentral.
The iCentral system is intelligent from a maintenance perspective as well.?????EUR??,,?EUR Broken heads, pipes, and mainline faults may be detected when an optional flow sensor is connected to the controller.?????EUR??,,?EUR Additionally, the Eagle controller has the ability to detect wiring faults associated with station field wiring.
Reports are available to show all Web and field activity.?????EUR??,,?EUR Additionally, all monthly billing/payment can be reviewed and performed on-line via the Web site.
The technology utilizes ubiquitous and dependable two-way wireless communications from the Internet to each field controller. Because it is wireless, installation is simple for either new or retrofit applications. The system takes advantage of existing commercial wireless carrier infrastructure found throughout most populated areas of the continental United States. After the initial installation of the controller is complete, the activation of the wireless service to the controller is performed directly from the Rain Master Web site.
