Riverside Methodist Hospital Neuroscience Center, Columbus, Ohio
In conjunction with the design of this highly visible patient tower, a large portion of the Riverside campus is also undergoing a significant transformation. The site design addresses parking, wayfinding, stormwater management, lighting and vehicular circulation. The new courtyard at the tower's third level will provide natural light to patient rooms and hospital corridors, along with calming landscape views. The bold yet simple landscape design transforms a chaotic and confusing arrival experience into one that is calming and clear.

 
Grange Insurance Headquarters Expansion, Columbus, Ohio
The new 11-story Grange Insurance Headquarters integrates a campus landscape. Plazas, a rain garden, multipurpose green spaces, a reflecting pool and pedestrian promenades provide an attractive and sustainable urban corporate campus.

Howlett Hall Green Roof, Columbus, Ohio
The Howlett Hall Green Roof is more than its name suggests, as it is an accessible roof garden that serves as a living laboratory. It has become a prized feature of Ohio State University and the Chadwick Arboretum. The 12,000 square foot garden sees a steady stream of visitors ranging from students and faculty, contractors and designers, special interest groups and the public at large. Information gained from the construction and performance of the roof will be applied to new and renovated buildings across the campus, as more green roofs are incorporated into the fabric of the OSU campus.

Cleveland Clinic Foundation Vail Garden, Cleveland, Ohio
Located at the front door of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, the Vail Garden is about beauty and simplicity. Its abstract qualities blend the power of art, architecture and landscape. This intimate outdoor space builds upon the historic influence of the "garden " and its universal appeal through a composition of basic elements interpreted through highly crafted details. Iris and Thomas Vail challenged the team to create a garden that expresses art, while providing visual respite for the thousands of visitors from around the world who pass by it each day.

nuCLEus, Cleveland, Ohio
nuCLEus is a visionary mixed-use development designed to enhance the vitality of Cleveland's downtown core. with a two-million square foot, multi-building complex with a 54-story residential tower. NBBJ's landscape architects applied research to establish a deep understanding of the city context and designed street environments surrounding nuCLEus that maximize positive impacts in the public and private realm.

Berezniki City Park + Uralkali Corporate Headquarters, Berezniki, Russia
Uralkali, the world's largest producer of potash, is relocating its world headquarters to the center of Berezniki, Russia. The city (pop. 156,466 ) is on the banks of the Kama River and within the Ural Mountains. As a result of a strategic partnership between Uralkali and the city, NBBJ was commissioned to revitalize the city's 100-acre central park, using the headquarters development to create a new civic gateway. By redefining open spaces and generating new outdoor programming, the park will be reinvigorated and in use year-round for the benefit of the citizens of the city and people of the region.
