Kevin Cash and Steele Fitzloff have joined Bernardo|Willis Architects' landscape architecture department as a landscape architect and landscape designer, respectively. A member of ASLA, Cash is licensed in Washington and California with 14 years professional design experience. He previously served as executive director of Spokane Ponderosa and holds a degree in landscape architecture from Washington State University. Fitzloff is currently pursuing licensure and has five years design experience. He earned his degree from Washington State University and formerly worked for Gavin Associates Landscape Architecture.

Michael Cook, vice president of planning and landscape architecture of Firma Design Group, has received final approval by the state of Nevada for licensure in landscape architecture.???(R)???AE'?N????e'?N,A+He will be able to assist existing clients with projects in Nevada, municipalities in Nevada with landscape architecture needs, and new clients looking for a different perspective for their site planning and landscape

Design Concepts promoted Robyn Bartling to associate and added five landscape architects and designers to the staff: Bill Gotthelf, Jennifer Gee, Andrew Patton and Andrew Vieth. The firm welcomes the new employees in response to new commissions for master planning and design work in Colorado and nationally. Bartling, a landscape architect and project manager, joined the firm in June 2012 and has worked on municipal parks and recreation projects. Gotthelf joined the firm as a landscape architect and project manager in August. He previously worked for firms in Denver and Boulder. Gee joined the firm as a landscape designer and project manager in February. With over 10 years of experience in landscape architecture, she previously worked for four years as a contractor for Design Concepts, and for firms in Boulder, Denver and northern Idaho. Patton joined the firm as a landscape designer in April. He has been working on landscape designs for Colorado parks and schools. He earned a degree in landscape architecture at Colorado State University, and previously worked for design-build firms in Denver and Boulder. Vieth, hired as a landscape designer in May and has been working on Colorado parks and schools.

Horsley and Latan????(R)???(C) are located in the Pasadena, Calif. office; while Morris is based in Irvine, Calif. Horsley oversees mentorship and recruitment for the firm. In addition to his significant experience in landscape architecture, he provides expertise in landscape management, giving him the ability to plan for the long-term success of the firm's projects. Latan????(R)???(C) leads the firm's sustainable design practice. In addition to her project work, she provides continuing education on sustainable landscape systems to each of the firm's studios. She is especially focused on greening schools and communities. Morris has over 15 years of experience in landscape architecture from design inception to completion. His expertise in high-density residential, hospitality, commercial and estate residential projects is guided by an energetic perspective and an appreciation for contextually sensitive design. He leads the firm's initiative to mentor designers in drawing and design techniques.

Anne Hanenburg, CLARB, has been promoted to associate by SPVV Landscape Architects of Spokane, Wash. She joined the firm in 2005. Hanenburg specializes in site master planning, landscape and hardscape design, garden design for specialized populations, irrigation system design. She also designs entry and wayfinding signage and features for healthcare, continuing care, higher education, K-12 education, government, corporate and multi-family housing commissions.
