Landscape Architects Attain "Hunk" Status

We recently noted in a news item ("Landscape Architects Go Hollywood") that landscape architect characters are recently in vogue as leading men in romantic comedies. But let's not forget the novel.

Carol Goodwin, author of The Seduction of Water and The Lake of Dead Languages, has written a new romantic suspense tome, The Ghost Orchid, not to be confused with the ghost orchid in Susan Orlean's novel The Orchid Thief. One reviewer wrote that Goodwin's new novel includes the persona of David Fox, a "sensitive hunk landscape architect."
