The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) is postponing applications for their Fellowship program in order to make the experience and the outcome more meaningful for Fellows and the Landscape Architects who benefit from their work.

As the eighth cohort of the Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership begins their year, the LAF has announced that they are postponing applications for the ninth cohort in order to reevaluate the program. In a press release published on the LAF website, organization CEO Barbara Deutsch, FASLA said that "The 'Growth and Strategy' year will allow us to reflect, test, and put structures in place to tap that unrealized value and foster greater impact." Intended changes involve integrating feedback from former cohorts and increasing the community among cohorts and the rest of the profession. Applications for the ninth cohort will open in the summer of 2025 for the 2026-27 fellowship year.
