IA
The Irrigation Association, an organization for irrigation companies and professionals, has released a class schedule for webinars and on-site training sessions, which will be held across the United States through the spring. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of classes. A schedule of available classes can be found at irrigation.org.







STMA
The STMA has announced the winners of the 2014 Field of the Year Award, which are given to members who manage baseball, football, soccer, softball and other sporting grounds at the professional, collegiate or schools (K-12) and parks and recreation level. WCISA
The WCISA, a nonprofit organization comprised of more than 3,000 arborists in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada, announced their 2015 Annual Meeting, which will be held at the Tenaya Lodge located just outside of Yosemite, April 27 - May 1. Attendees will enjoy large trees, ancient specimens, and wild places that are all within a few minutes' drive or short walk from the conference hotel. ARCSA
The American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association has announced their new board of directors. Results of the election are as follows: president, David Crawford, Va.; vice president, Mark Pape, Texas; secretary, Neal Shapiro, Calif.; treasurer, Joe Wheeler, Texas; and assistant treasurer, Mark Pape, Texas. PLANET
To better suit the needs of members, PLANET, the national trade association that represents more than 100,000 landscape industry professionals, will be "rebranding" in the coming year; these plans even include an update to their name. In a letter to members, Jim McCutcheon, the association's president said, "We have completed extensive industry and member research to develop a new brand that will help us aggressively advocate for and promote our industry in a way that we believe will benefit all member companies."
