Irrigation Foundation Awards 21 Scholarships
Students Enrolled in Irrigation Related Programs

Mymajors.com reports that there are just under one million irrigation technicians in the United States and that the median salary is about $29,000 a year. According to the site, many irrigation jobs require at least an associate's degree.


A total of 37 students, enrolled in associate to graduate programs with a focus on irrigation, applied this year to the second annual Irrigation Foundation Scholarship program.

The scholarships awarded range from $1,000 to $2,500 and are allocated to each student by a dedicated committee within the foundation.

The students are located around the country and apply using the foundation's website application tool.
