This December, visitors of the Irrigation Show and Education Conference will have the chance to receive certification from exams hosted by the Irrigation Association and the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals. AOLP is offering a certified low voltage lighting technician exam to attendees at the show. Those who wish to become certified must register for the CLVLT exam in advance. The date is on December 4, so AOLP must receive the registration form by October 31. The exam is a national certification that is particularly for 12-volt systems, and it includes seven half-hour labs and a written test. To contact AOLP with questions, call 717-238-2504.The Irrigation Association's Certification Board has updated the certified irrigation contractor (CIC) exam content online, to be showcased at the show. The revised exam has occurred as a result of a job task analysis completed earlier this year. Comprising 150 questions, this new form will introduce new matters for beta testing, and will not be scored. Passing the exam will qualify you as a certified irrigation contractor.
