IA Announced New CEO

Natasha Rankin Named

The Irrigation Association (IA) Board of Directors named Natasha Rankin as the new chief executive officer. She will begin her work as CEO on January 10th.

The Irrigation Association Board of Directors named Natasha Rankin as the new chief executive officer on December 6th. Rankin will begin the new role on January 10th, 2022.

She has over 25 years of experience and had served as the chief strategy officer/chief operating officer for the American Counseling Association (ACA). During Rankin's time with ACA, the organization saw record levels of membership and revenue growth. She has also held the executive director position for the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation and the Greeting Card Association and the General Federation of Women's Clubs.

"After a comprehensive selection process that considered many qualified candidates, the board is confident that Natasha Rankin is the right person to lead the IA into the future," John Newlin, CIC, CIT, CLIA, chair of the CEO Search Committee and incoming IA president explained, "Her wealth of experience with associations on multiple levels and her track record of success in developing and executing strategies to achieve growth and sustainability will be huge assets for the IA."

The new CEO will also be attending the 2021 Irrigation Show and Education Week in San Diego from December 7th through 8th.
