The Irrigation Association has announced it is accepting nominations and applications through March 31 for the following awards:

• 2020 Vanguard Award
• 2020 Innovator Award
• 2020 Industry Achievement Award
• 2020 Excellence in Education Award

 

If you have a colleague, peer or mentor who deserves recognition for their work, IA asks that you nominate that person for an award today. If you have been involved in completing an innovative irrigation project, apply for a Vanguard Award.

All nominations and applications are due on March 31.

Smart Water Application Technologies, a committee of the IA, recognizes water providers that are committed to promoting efficient irrigation technologies and practices by increasing engagement and partnerships with important stakeholders, according to the association.
Applications are currently being accepted for the following SWAT awards:

• 2020 Outstanding Industry Partnership Award

• 2020 Outstanding Public Engagement Award

Cities, counties and utilities involved in successful programs promoting outdoor water-use efficiency are encouraged to apply for an award. Participation is open to IA members and nonmembers.
Awards will be presented at WaterSmart Innovations in Las Vegas, Nev.
