Hord Coplan Macht, a Baltimore architecture, landscape architecture, planning and interior design firm with more than 30 years of experience opens new location in Alexandria, Va. In recent years the firm’s presence has grown considerably in the Virginia/Washington D.C. area.

HCM specializes in healthcare, multi-family housing, mixed-use, education, parks and recreation, office and institutional facilities. Among their projects in the Virginia/Washington D.C. vicinity, are Safeway with an anchored apartment complex being developed near the Wheaton Metro station and another near the Twinbrook Metro.

“This new office is part of our long-term plan for continued growth. It provides the potential to expand geographically and to increase our market share with our core target clients,” says Lee Coplan, Senior Principal.

Other HMC projects include Lifebridge Health System, the University of Maryland Medical System, Towson University, The Bozzuto Group, and The National Park Service.

The new HMC office is located at 225 Reinekers Lane in Alexandria.
