PLNA awards $500 to winner

Joanne Cressman, a design for Daniel's Landscaping in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, has won the Capitol Region Greenbelt Design Contest. The contest was sponsored by the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association (PLNA).

The Capitol Region Greenbelt is an environmental initiative undertaken by the city of Harrisburg. The Greenbelt consists of a 20- mile long trail around Harrisburg linking parks and open space. PLNA sponsors a section of the Greenbelt and the contest was held to re-design the PLNA site. For her efforts, Cressman will receive a $500 cash award and will oversee the installation of her winning design.
