Green Star Awards

Last year the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York, received an Honor Award in the Hospital or Institution category.

The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) is searching for the best-managed landscapes, and is now accepting entries for its Green Star Awards Program.

This program salutes the grounds superintendent responsible for maintaining a well-manicured landscape year round. Grand, Honor and Merit Awards are offered in 15 categories, covering all types of private, public commercial and industrial landscapes.

Winners will be recognized at the 2013 Awards Banquet taking place October 25, 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky as part of the annual School of Grounds Management & GIE+EXPO.
