''Green'' Shift in Holiday Lighting

Christmas Decor says environmentally-friendly LED lighting adds energy efficiency and flexibility to holiday displays

Many home and business owners are looking for ways to build an eco-conscious lifestyle by using products that have less impact on the environment. According to the holiday lighting experts Christmas Decor, this sustainability movement has been working its way into the holiday season for years through a variety of products. LED lights derive their name from the fact they utilize ''light emitting diodes'' to create light. LED Christmas lights are similar to the traditional Christmas incandescent bulbs except that they do not have a filament inside that can burn out and take the entire string of bulbs with it.
