Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, a North American trade association for the green roof industry, is offering a ?EUR??,,????'?????<?Green Roof Design for Biodiversity Workshop?EUR??,,????'?????<? in San Francisco on Oct. 17.
Course instructor Paul Kephart (Rana Creek Habitat Restoration and Living Architecture) is a biologist by training, but also considers himself a “restoration ecologist” with over 20 years of consulting experience in land use planning and resource management. He is one of the country’s leading ecological authorities on green roofs, living walls and watershed management systems.
The course focuses on specific elements to incorporate into green roof design and construction criteria to help recapture and increase biodiversity in the urban setting. Those collecting ASLA credits for license renewal can acquire 3.5 education credits by enrolling in this course.
