Firms of Florida - Insite Studio

West Palm Beach, Florida

Avenir, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
This project is a 4,752-acre sustainable community currently under construction. The area will include 3,900 new homes, a resort style clubhouse and pool, and over 300 acres of waterways and lakes. Our firm completed the design of the resort style pool area at the main community clubhouse. The resort area features a 5,000-square-foot pool with beach entry, a splash pad, outdoor pavilions, a playground, a spa and a water feature, all surrounded by beautiful hardscapes and lush tropical landscaping.
Nautilus 220, Lake Park, Florida
Insite Studio coordinated the land planning and development for the new luxury waterfront residences. Our team designed the surrounding streetscapes and waterfront promenade, and conceived the design for the unique Nautilus pool amenity deck. Boasting private elevators and lavish resort services, the building will combine unit condominiums with state-of-the-art retail and office space and restaurants.

This club is home to an 18-Hole championship golf course designed by the legendary Tom Fazio. Eastpointe is modernizing their facilities and golf course to include a new clubhouse facility, resort pool, spa and fitness facilities as well as the development of 75 new single-family home sites. Insite Studio will be managing all the landscape architecture design of the development for both the club and the new residential neighborhood.
The Residences at Boca Dunes Boca Raton, Florida
Insite Studio has facilitated the planning and landscape architecture for the exclusive 56-acre golf course redevelopment. Over 440 multifamily units and townhomes will call this luxury rental community home. The resort-style amenities in the heart of Western Boca Raton, include the re-design of an 18-hole executive golf course, a resort style pool, a dog park and extensive walking and jogging trail systems.
The Treatment Center of the Palm Beaches, West Palm Beach, Florida
This project is an existing rehabilitation facility that was recently purchased by Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS). After the purchase, ARS started planning a major renovation to enhance the interior and exterior of the facility. Insite Studio was tasked with redesigning the landscaping at the entrance to the center. The design provides a warm and inviting feeling for patients of the facility. In the rear a new recreation area was created with lush new landscaping including a resort pool, pavilions, a barbecue area and basketball, volleyball, shuffle ball and bocce courts.

We are a professional consulting firm specializing in land planning and landscape architecture. The firm was founded in early 2018 and is led by two experienced and licensed landscape architects, Brian Terry and Bryan Donahue, with over 30 years of combined experience. The businessmen and longtime friends are passionate about design and believe a true hands-on approach is key to successful projects. Both have spent their careers in the South Florida area planning and developing projects across all major market sectors. The firms overarching design philosophy is to create a unique sense of place by combining culture and architecture with the careful stewardship, wise planning and artful design of the built environment. Insite Studio has three areas of expertise. We specialize in urban design, landscape architecture and planning.

Editor's Note: With the ASLA annual meeting and EXPO in Miami canceled this year due to safety concerns amid the COVID-19 health pandemic, LASN still wanted to highlight the landscape architectural work of firms from the southeast region. LASN asked the firms to send us a short biographical profile, plus photography from selected projects, with a brief description of the design work for each project. We let the firms speak for themselves in their profiles and in describing the projects, although some editing was required because of space restraints and not all photography and projects could be included. Thank you, firms of Florida and Alabama for participating!

As seen in LASN magazine, September 2020.
