Robert H. Rucker graduated from Texas A & M University in 1939 and the University of Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1947.He has been a key contributor to0 the success of the ASLA over the years as he severed as the ASLA President in 1965-1966. He has also been the recipient of several awards for his success in landscape architecture which included the Resolution of Appreciation from Texas A & M University in 1980 This lead to his induction as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1983.
