Harriet Pattison received her nomination from the Council of Fellows Executive Committee. She has been a principal collaborator with America's most distinguished architects on projects considered international icons that demonstrate the precise integration of landscape and 20th century Modernist architecture. This includes her insightful direction with Louis Kahn on the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park in New York City. In these and her many other masterful works, including the Hershey Company's international headquarters and working with Peter Bohlin on the governor's mansion garden in Harrisburg, Pa., her designs evoke the complex, meticulous detail that blends buildings and their landscapes.
